Whose Life is it Anyway?
This show
ran February 19 and 20 at The Wood Theater in Glens Falls and represented the largest production to date for us. With a cast of 13 and a full, two-story set, it was our most ambitious project. Glens Falls Hospital was most generous by loaning props and equipment and providing information on legal and ethical issues which relate to this play. Written in 1979 by author Brian Clark for British television, we needed to become aware of the current American stand on the end-of-life and right-to-die debates within the medical and legal professions.
The hospital was instrumental in helping us get the word out about the show. The Hospital Guild served refreshments during intermission.
A talk-back session wasoffered to interested audience members after both performances with the cast and representatives from legal and medical professionals.
Original theme music for the show was created by Daniel Anderson, friend and former student of Director, Neil Akins.
